About 250ha of land near Hoppers Crossing in Wyndhan is the latest suburb to be unveiled by the Baillieu Government.

Planning Minister Matthew Guy announced on Friday he was opening Truganina South for residential development, 19km southwest of the CBD in an area bounded by Leakes and Palmers roads.
